Who we are
Helldrifter is a death metal band from Stuttgart southern Germany, with some influences from thrash and melodic death metal. It is heavily inspired by death metal giants such as Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Death and At The Gates. The music can go from straight thrash to more complex death metal parts, when the melodies are present it can take you to harmonic paths that remind bands such as Children Of Bodom or even Dark Tranquillity. The band's lyrical themes are focused mostly on mysticism, sociological issues, horror movies and video games, with a heavy dose of surealism.

A new chapter for Helldrifter has been opened. We are very excited to announce Igor Montes Alvarez as our new Helldrifter Family member! Not only is he an amazing musician but a great persona as well! We have an amazing atmosphere in the band and the decision to have him to join us was very easy! Lets see what else 2022 has to offer, we hope for more shows, metal and good vibes for all.

RED is our second Song from the upcoming record Lord of Damnation, It is a track about a psycho killer who is literally going insane,
he hears a voice that commands him to kill and torture him victims. While on a killing spree he is "seeing everything in red colors" That is also the theme in our upcoming video.
The video was shot in a abandoned Mansion of a paper factory owner, the guys personal things where all left behind. Time as torn the place apart with dust spread all over the place,
making it the best dystopian environment for a shot like that.
